CONCÁ 1
QUERETARO
Image #1031
The mission of Saint Michael Concá (San Miguel Concá) was one of five founded by Father Junípero Serra in 1750 in the Sierra Gorda of Queretaro. Father Serra went on to found many missions in Baja California and California Alta. Recently restored, the colors at Concá pick out the many details executed in stucco on the primitive Baroque façade.
